With The Tears Of Robert Smith…

LUSH has come up with The Cure for winsomely wayward locks that are really into a medium-hold hair gel that gives rockin’ cruelty-free style. Goth Juice by LUSH is a styling gel that holds and adds shine to the hair without drying it out. LUSH Goth Juice is positively loaded with mineral-rich hemp oil, flaxseed oil and fresh lemon infusion all of which make for an awesome High shine. Oak moss and olibanum give Goth Juice its intoxicating scent which lingers. After Goth Juice, which is Never Enough, all you’ll need is the smeared (okay maybe not smeared) red lipstick and everything will be Just Like Heaven. We love that LUSH goes there!

Please Don’t Make A Spectacle.

A little left of centre perhaps, but being your good grooming guru that we love to be, Beauty Marked! just wanted to give a gentle reminder to those who may not be in the know when it comes to all things etiquette apropos of sunglasses. De-spectacle oneself when inside, because even as fabulous as many sunnies of the season may be, they really should be cased when indoors as to not risk looking a tad wannabe or disrespectful. Be mindful of transition lenses as well as they can have a similar effect. Also, when attending a work meeting, even if outdoors and if the sun seems exceedingly brilliant, do go sans sunglasses. Although it wouldn’t ever be your intention, sunglasses at a meeting can come across somewhat untrustworthy, a bit posey, and disinterested. Let them see your eyes and really get to know how genuine you most certainly are. Other than the aforementioned, it is absolutely fine to make an utterly gorgeous spectacle of yourself and we most certainly hope that you do.

Just Too Cool.

L’Occitane has recently released 3 trés cool additions to its Verbena Harvest range and all with L’Occitane’s prized organic verbena extract. L’Occitane is proud to introduce you to: Cooling Powdered Foot Gel, Cooling Mousse For Tired Legs, and Cooling Deodorant Stick. This luxe trio is sure to keep you in great step in the warmer months and beyond.

Cooling Powdered Foot Gel With its amazingly novel and appreciated formulation aside, the organic verbena extract and invigorating, yet not-too-minty mint essential oil are able to transform a steamy, uncomfortable pedal predicament into a cool, refreshing, purified, and sensational situation for the soles. Cooling Powdered Foot Gel also contains antimicrobial sage essential oil and absorbent tapioca powder. What Beauty Marked! particularly loves about this all-star line-up of ingredients in this considerate formulation is that it not only manages to sort out your feet, but leaves them aptly treated without the greasy finish. Your feet are left revitalized and feeling silky.

Cooling Mousse For Tired Legs This lightweight mousse increases circulation and eases the tired sensation of weary legs. The mousse transforms into an icy cool liquid upon application, which delivers the perfect amount of menthol, organic verbena extract, and cyprus essential oil to perk-up your pins.

Cooling Deodorant Stick Seeing that your legs and feet are now sorted, why not go for pole position after making a pit stop with L’Occitane’s fast drying, mint and sage essential oil enriched, and alcohol, aluminum salt-free stick deodorant? Cooling Deodorant Stick is infused with the delicate and long-lasting perfume of organic verbena, which leaves us well placed to confidently glide through the day. We love that!

L’Occitane Verbena Harvest is available from all L’Occitane boutiques nationwide and is…just too cool!

What About These?

Hi BM!

What do you reckon about eyelash curlers? Are they really all that necessary? Looking forward to reading your thoughts. Thanks.

Oddly enough, I can not seem to find my eyelash curler for love nor money at the moment. I suspect it might have something to do with the ram-raid my 20 month old daughter did on my cosmetics wardrobe a week ago. Hmmm. On initial inspection, post ram-raid, I thought the damage was limited to only few cream blushes, an eyeshadow brush, and a couple of gel eyeliners….but upon the real rude awakening, which came a few days later, when attending to a full face (mine), I could not find my beloved Shu Curler that had been, on the quiet, both faithfully and capably called to service darn near daily. Gasp! So I was left to improvise and trust me, while the finger pressure on mascaraed lashes for about 30 seconds might be the go on a dessert island when you are forced to go without, but when you’re not, the old finger ain’t a patch on an eyelash curler. In its terribly missed absence, I now realize that my eyelash curler is a bit of an unsung hero, in fact. So to make a short story longer…yes, I do rather think they are necessary and work quite a ways at expertly opening the eye while giving you a more alluring and curvaceous look to your lashes and overall makeup look, absolutely.

Now, I’m off to find my long lost stellar beauty and if I can’t, I’m calling in the troops to round up another. *sings woefully* Oh where, Oh where has my eyelash curler gone? Oh where, Oh where can she be?…
